他とは違ったアレンジでオシャレを楽しみたい、もう着れないとあきらめていた服たちに再び息を吹き込みたいという想いからオリジナルリメイクを始めたことをきっかけに、QuiMEllA【キメラ】をスタートさせました。

いろいろな素材を組み合わせてつくりあげるアクセサリー『ORIGINAL COLLECTION』ラインを中心に、布や刺繍をコラージュしてつくり上げる一点ものやオーダーリメイク商品『RE DRESSED』ラインを展開しています。

QuiMEllA【キメラ】とは生物学において同一個体内に異なった遺伝子情報を持つ細胞が混ざっていること。“異なる要素で構成する”をコンセプトに色や柄どうしを組み合わせたり、ジグザグのステッチで差し色を加えたり、リボンで動きをつけたり…
遊び心を加えた他にはないデザインでコーディネートのアクセントになるような一点もののバッグやアクセサリーを製作しています。

Misa Kimura, born in Tokyo, is graduated from Tama Art University. She majored interior design at the University. Misa become an interior designer after graduation. She later shifted her interest to the fashion industry. In 2010, Misa launched her first label QuiMEllA, custom-making fashion items range from ready-to-wear to accessories.

The brand’s name, QuiMEllA, came from the word Chimera which contains a biological meaning of different cells in a single organism. The principle behind is to mix and match different fabrics, colours and patterns with my signature zigzag stitches. This add a little fun on my design and made it the ONE and ONLY for no combination will look the same.

QuiMEllA has two different lines,『ORIGINAL COLLECTION』and『RE-DRESSED』, both stressing the specialty of bespoke services. The『ORIGINAL COLLECTION』demonstrates the beauty and elegance through the collage of fabrics and embroidery while 『RE-DRESSED』focuses on environmental concerns which Misa designs and modifies customer’s used products
